Cheap, and it mostly stays up
I'll be the contrarian here. I pay four euros a month, the box has been up since March apart from one reboot, and I've never needed support because it only runs an IRC bouncer and a small file share. Disk is clearly not what they claim, but if your expectations are low it is honest value.
Charged me twice after cancelling
Cancelled through the panel, received a confirmation email, and was still billed for the following two months. Getting the money back required a chargeback because the ticket went unanswered for nine days. Read the fine print. Or better, don't sign up.
'NVMe' that benchmarks like an old SATA drive
Sold as NVMe. I measured 118 MB/s sequential write and about 3k random IOPS, repeated across three days and two rebuilds. Opened a ticket with the fio output attached and was told performance varies by workload. Thats not variance, that's the wrong hardware behind the marketing.
Tickets go into a void
Four tickets over five months. Average response about three days, and two of them were closed with no reply at all. The live chat is a bot whose main function seems to be offering you an upgrade. When the server works you don't need them, but when it stops you are completely on your own.
Getting off was harder than getting on
No snapshot export, a rescue console that never actually loaded for me, and image downloads throttled to around 5 Mbps. Moving 60GB out took the better part of two days over rsync. It's hard not to read that as deliberate.
Unannounced maintenance in the middle of the day
Third time this year the host has dropped mid-afternoon with nothing on the status page, followed by an email about completed emergency maintenance arriving after it came back. For five dollars a month I expected mediocre. I did not expect chaotic.

About ByteHollow Hosting
ByteHollow Hosting is rated 2.2 out of 5 from 6 customer reviews on HostSerp.
A low-cost VPS brand reselling capacity on leased hardware, marketed heavily on unlimited-sounding specs and NVMe claims that benchmarks do not support. Plans start around four euros a month with a web panel, VNC console and root access. Support runs through a ticket queue with a chat bot in front of it.

ByteHollow's plan pages promise NVMe storage and enterprise networking; the measurements customers publish tell a different story, with sequential writes and random IOPS landing in territory a mid-range SATA SSD would be embarrassed by. That gap between claim and delivery is the defining problem here, and support's response to it - that performance varies by workload - does not survive contact with a fio output. Reliability is erratic rather than catastrophic: unannounced midday maintenance, status-page notices that arrive after the fact, and reboots nobody explains. Ticket handling is the worst in this category by a distance, with multi-day responses and threads closed without a reply. Billing complaints, including charges after confirmed cancellation, and a deliberate-feeling lack of snapshot export make leaving harder than arriving. There is a narrow case for it - a hobby box where downtime costs nothing and support is never needed - but almost anything with stakes belongs elsewhere.
