Support couldn't answer a basic question

Asked whether DNSSEC was supported for my TLD. First reply was a copy-paste about nameservers. Second reply said they'd check with their provider. Third reply, nine days later, said no. Nine days to say no. Meanwhile the appraisal widget keeps emailing me that my domain is worth $4,200, which it very clearly is not.

DNS changes take hours

Updated an A record for a launch and it took a bit over four hours to actually serve. TTL was 300. Support told me changes are queued to their upstream provider and that's normal. That is not normal. I moved the zone to an external DNS host the same day and the domain stays here only because the transfer fee annoys me more than the situation does.

Account got locked after a password reset

Did a routine password change and the account went into a review state for five days with no explanation and no access to my domains. Support eventually said it was an automated fraud check. I understand fraud checks, I don't understand zero notification and a five day wait. One domain nearly hit its renewal date during it.

They charge you to leave

There's a transfer-out administration fee. For a gTLD. I've been registering domains for fifteen years and I've never seen a legitimate registrar do this. It's not huge but it's the principle, and it isn't mentioned anywhere near the point where you decide to sign up. Combined with the paid privacy the real cost is well above the headline.

The marketplace side is okay

Bought a two-word .com through their brokerage. The escrow worked, the seller was real, the transfer into my account completed in about a week which is roughly normal for aftermarket. So the marketplace does what it says. I just wouldn't keep the domain in their registrar account afterwards — I pushed it out as soon as the 60 day lock cleared.

Not terrible, not good

I have three parked domains here and for parking it's fine — the monetisation program has paid out small amounts on time and the dashboard is readable. But I'd never put a production site behind it. Also the checkout tries to sell you an SSL bundle twice, which is a bit much.
